Physician. Landscape architect. Clinical informatician.
I came to medicine already knowing, from the other side of the exam room, what it’s like to move through a system that wasn’t built with you in mind. Since then I’ve trained as a pediatrician and clinical informatician, studied design alongside science, and spent years in Silicon Valley helping build and scale health AI, and I still see patients today. I’ve worked through three eras of change in healthcare, from electronic records to digital health to AI, and each one rewarded the clinicians who understood both the medicine and the machinery. I’ve taken most of the detours already, and Anastomosis is where I help other physicians find their way into this work faster than I did.
